JAWS Movie Night

I have no idea why, but I lately I have found myself interested in sharks and shark attacks. No I am not a cruel sadistic person. I don't like thinking about someone being attacked, but there is something really intriguing about sharks. I kind of think that everyone has a secret interest in something that some people would call a little strange?

Well anyways. I have never seen the movie JAWS before! So I indulged myself. Tommy and I had a Jaws movie night :) AND it was a pretty big deal. 

We started talking about this movie almost a whole week before we actually watched it. You know those movies that you think to yourself, "Oh yeah. I would really like to watch that movie" while you are in the middle of doing something... and then you completely forget about that movie when you are actually going to watch a movie? And then you happen to remember again during another inconvenient time? So this time I was actually going to get to watch JAWS. I was not going to play into the cycle of forgetfulness. Tommy and I marched down to the movie store the night we thought about watching it. Only to realize that a movie store probably would not be open at 1:00 am. (We have yet to transition into the "married" couple trend of going to bed early and that is why we were up at 1:00 am). We tried to watch it two nights later with our friends and checked Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and no one had JAWS. Finally, on Monday we went to the video rental store near by and I swear they have every movie possible. And they did have it. YES! Victory. So Tommy and I went back home, made banana chocolate chip pancakes because they are the best, and watched JAWS. 

It was no disappointment. If you have not seen JAWS, I would recommend it.
