Alright, so this post is a little overdue... but I have turned over a new leaf (with the help of my favorite person) and decided to focus on blogging as a journal of our life. So throughout the next several posts, I will venture back to some things that should have made it to the blog :)
One of which is HURRICANE IRENE! She came and she went, ever so softly.
Before: These are the supplies we bought. We bought them a few days before and we were so grateful as the number of people at the grocery stores multiplied
During: We spent the majority of our time watching Prison Break. Yes we got through the majority of the whole series :) Oh Michael Scoffield how we miss you...
Had a sleepover in our living room!!! We had to stay away from the windows. And it also allowed us to watch that many more episodes of Prison Break hahahha
After: This is the special park by our apartment. Other than this, we did not really see a lot of visible damage from the storm.
The little walkway below a bridge turned into a pool. Looks like chocolate milk.

I'm so glad nothing really bad happened and that you guys are ok! It actually sounds like you guys turned it into a really fun time! Glad you are doing well in NYC! :)

ReplyDeleteWe sat on that bench and ate our pastries when we were there in mid-September!! There was just some mud left.
