I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are constantly exposed to the most hopeful, real, and genuine teachings that come from God. These teachings touch hearts from all over, including mine. If you are able to sit still and listen, your heart can be touched as well and experience the happiest feelings as a gift from God. I know God loves His children and will watch over them. I know that Jesus Christ is kind, loving, and perfect. Through His gift of the Atonement, we can be perfect like Him. I am not saying that being a member of this church gives me a life free from sadness or hard things, but it can give me a life that is free from the fear of uncertainty--uncertainty of not knowing who I am, where I am from, what's my purpose. Knowing who our Savior is and what He means, can give me the faith to experience happiness and joy no matter the circumstances I am in.
