My dear friend, and old roommate Liese is in the city for her summer training with Goldman Sachs. Yeap! That means of course we had to get together… and GO TO THE ZOO! I will say, the Bronx Zoo is nothing like the San Diego Zoo (I have been far too spoiled in the realm of zoos). But, it was still nice to get out of the city and into the wild.
My favorite kind of animal we saw is the lemur. They were fabulous. They had these little fury masks for faces, very fashionable stripes down their bodies… and tails that stayed up while they walked… making their booties wiggle—struttin their stuff.
